Spitalfields Market Now Ready

The final piece of the puzzle has finally been completed and the new depot is now OFFICIALLY OPEN, come pay us a visit.

Dawsongroup | material handling Ltd became official tenants at New Spitalfields Market, Britains premier wholesale fruit, vegetable and flower market.  New Spitalfields serves London and the Home Counties and is well placed to serve the whole of the UK and the near continent too.  New Spitalfields is a purpose-built site opened in 1991 which can justifiably claim to be the largest revenue earning fresh produce and flower market in the UK, with tenants that meet the cultural culinary needs of all cultures.  The evolution and mixture of tenants, particularly those specialising in exotic fruits and vegetables has been a welcomed development which has contributed to making New Spitalfields Market the market for success.

Dawsongroup | material handling has been a presence at New Spitalfields since it opened (and had dealings with the old site before that) and with our new workshop, we will be able to enhance our existing services and also provide hire equipment on site.

As well as the new depot, we also welcome Dave “Big Dog” Fifield who joins us as Senior Engineer for Spitalfields.  Dave has previously worked for us as a sub-contractor but is now a fully fledged member of the Dawsongroup | material handling team.
